January 16, 2020 MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL DIANNE CARTER
Happy Thursday, WRMS Families!
I hope you have all managed to stay dry amidst the soggy weather lately. Yesterday morning, one of my dogs looked at me like I was crazy when we were starting our walk. He hates to get his little feet wet. One of my favorite moments this week was a little after 8:00 one morning. One of our students appeared at my door and asked if I was available. Of course I said yes. She sat down and said, "I have an idea to save the world." Needless to say, I was excited and we had a great conversation. Her angle is to help people be more aware of using bottles and containers that can be reused in order to decrease the amount of plastic that we throw away each day. There are plenty of adults that can't present themselves or their ideas the way that she did. It made me believe our future is in good hands. Keep an eye out for more information in a future newsletter.
That is all for this week. My hope is that we do get to see some sunshine in the next few days. I hope you also find time to get a little extra rest over this three-day weekend.
Enjoy!
