October 11, 2018 MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL DIANNE CARTER
Hello, WRMS Families!!!
Here we are again - another Thursday! I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend and have had a terrific week. It has been a good one here! First, congratulations to our orchestra kids! This year 40 of the students in the All Region Orchestra will be Wildcats! That is incredible and a testament to their hard work and dedication. Second, thanks to the whole community (students, staff, and parents) for your flexibility that resulted in a smooth experience as our 8th graders took the PSAT this past Wednesday. We can all check that off the list! Last but not least, we had plenty of reasons to laugh during lunches last Friday. Our fabulous EEF reps came and had a quick minute to win it competition to see who could "hike" the most rolls of toilet paper through a hula hoop in one minute. I'm not sure what was more entertaining, watching them hike the toilet paper or watching us collect the rolls and run them back. I can't wait to see what tomorrow's competition is!
-PIT Tickets are not interchangeable with stadium seating.
-If you purchased a PIT Package for your Middle School Student, they are permitted to use those tickets in the PIT area ONLY.
-PIT Tickets will not scan at the stadium entrances.
-If you want your Middle School Student to sit in the stadium, a general admission ticket will need to be purchased for them as well as for an accompanying adult.
-Individual PIT tickets are available for purchase at the PIT gate on game night for $8 each.
-The PIT is an adult-supervised area for Middle School Students to enjoy the game from a unique "end-zone" vantage point.
That's about all I have for this week. I am looking forward to a more "normal" week next week so that I can spend more time in classes. I had two days this week with over 10,000 steps, which is great for my fitness. However, it means I didn't sit in one place long enough to really watch the joy of learning happening. I hope you all have a relaxing weekend and appreciate the need for some sleeves.
Enjoy!
