MESSAGE FROM INTERIM PRINCIPAL ROBIN LOWE Hi Parents, Hope you survived this little cold spell we've had the last few days. My Colorado friends thought it was pretty funny that we had a snow day again. They don't really understand the weather difference between snow and ice!! This is the time of year that we start working on scheduling for next year. Listed below are important dates for parent meetings regarding course selection for here and for our 8th graders moving to the high school. WILDCAT CLUB NEWS Welcome back Wildcat families! We hope you all enjoyed the 4-day weekend! Just before winter break all of the WRMS staff received beautiful and festive cookie trays to take home with them for the holidays. Thank you,Tiffany Evans, for organizing this event! We appreciate all of your time and energy that went into making this WRMS tradition another success! And thank you to all of our volunteers for baking, delivering and putting together these delicious cookie trays! As part of the 6th Grade Medieval History study unit, participation is mandatory. Students and volunteers are highly encouraged to dress up in authentic costumes. This is when our students should read as much as possible and keep track of it. Have friends and family pledge a penny, a nickle or whatever amount per page and raise money to buy books for kids right here in Austin. Participants will also need to register online if they want to be eligible for prizes and/or to take online donations. A mere $3 buys one book for a child.
