You are invited to West Ridge Middle School to come hear Brittany Neece, Assistant Clinical Director of “My Healing Place”, on Friday, November 9^th at 11:00 a.m. speak about how to help children and adolescents cope with grief.

     “ My Healing Place” is a non-profit organization focused on grief and trauma with the mission to assist children and adults as they move from loss to a full life through support , therapy, education, training and consultation. “My Healing Place” provides individual counseling and group therapy for individuals who have experienced the death of a loved one from illness, accident, suicide, or violence; along with those who have experienced abuse, traumatic accident, divorce or separation, loss of a job or other losses. They also offer support groups that they bring to different Austin area schools for children who have experienced the death of a loved on, divorced parents or incarcerated parents.”
