We will ensure engaging and enriching instruction and experiences for each student.

Points of Pride:

West Ridge was rated as an Exemplary school by the Texas Education Agency in 2009 ratings.
Two Destination Imaginaiton teams qualified for the 2009 Global Finals and one took top honors.
West Ridge had 42 singers audition for the middle school all-region choir and 38 made it. WRMS students earned top places in every voice part and four students made first Chair.
In 2008, West Ridge was named to the Texas Business and Education Coalition Honor Roll for the third consecutive year.
West Ridge placed second at the 2009 UIL Middle School Academic Meet.
Of the 42 students tested in the annual Duke Talent Identification Program, 27 West Ridge students received state recognition and three earned Grand recognition.
